[Floyd simply scoffs at that, because the state of the bathroom is the absolute last thing on his mind right now. There's been far too much attention. Far too much touching and teasing and wanting.

The only thing he wants to see, taste, feel, hear... is this. Nothing else, no one else, but this.

So he says nothing more and the moment Riddle wraps his arms around him, Floyd's already on the move, securing himself around his smaller frame and hoisting him up as if he weighs little more than air. From there it's all too easy to walk right into the shower, to let the water run down his back while he leans in to simultaneously kiss and press Riddle against one of the glass walls.]

—ack?!

[WAIT...]

F-floyd, my underwear!

[And then the next thing he knows, he's being pressed against the wall and kissed. There's a small grumble, but he relents, returning the kiss.

Floyd's body blocking most of the water helps the droplets not barrage him too fast, though he has to quickly bring his arms around front. The water that does hit him feels like fire, some even causing him to jolt.

But he's mostly focused on Floyd and on returning that hungry kiss.]

Whu' 'bout 'em?

[he mumbles, his grip secure and tight around Riddle's smaller frame, his body burning long before the water touched his skin. At least Riddle isn't shivering anymore... though that jolt gives him pause and he pulls back, wondering if he's bit him or squeezed just a little too hard.

He would ask. He should ask. But Riddle's so pretty. Maybe it's instinct that drives his interest and has Floyd all but ogling the other boy under the steamy downpour, forehead pressed to his own and fingers hooking into the waistband of his now-soaking underwear.]

You're ridiculous...

[While there's some annoyance there, it's mostly fond. How could he really get upset when he knew it was just because Floyd was so excited for Riddle? Being desired so intensely is like a drug... one that Riddle feels he has a right to indulge in, at least... just a little while longer.

Seeing that intense gaze on him has his face darkening a little bit... His hand comes up and caresses Floyd's cheek.

He murmurs to him:]

Have I told you how handsome you are, yet?

[He wants to argue that Riddle's the ridiculous one--just look at his name, for Seven's sake--but the hand on his face is distracting... almost as distracting as those words.

Floyd's never self-conscious about his looks. He'll dress up and show up however he wants to on a day to day basis. Even being told he's good looking isn't anything worth flushing over. It's far more likely he'll laugh or agree or ask why the hell someone would say such a cringey thing.

But it's completely different when someone he admires says it. Being praised for his abilities is one thing. Being told he's handsome--

Floyd doesn't turn nearly as red as Riddle does, but there's a faint dusting of pink on the apples of his cheeks that's impossible to miss.]

Um... nuh-uh.

[A bit awkward, he gently nudges Riddle's forehead with his own.]

D'you want to? ... I guess you kinda already did though.

[...he's adorable.

He leans forward and brushes a slow kiss along his lips and cheek, and then murmurs into his ear.]

You're wonderfully handsome. Both in this form and in your true form. Especially when you're intensely focused...

[He presses kisses along his jawline.]

Handsome... patient... and thoughtful.

[Ah… ahhh…

Somehow Floyd doesn’t drop Riddle while he showers him in affection. It’s a little overwhelming, truth be told, because aside from Riddle never being this way with him before, Floyd realizes this is the first time in a long while someone’s been affectionate to him of their own free will.

It feels like recharging, like stepping into the sea and letting the waves ripple through his gills after months of breathing air. For all Floyd’s violence, he thrives on touch, on sweet words and reminders of why he ventured on land at all.

He doesn’t respond right away, too focused on processing and staring at the wall at Riddle’s back as he’s kissed. Eventually Floyd hides his face in the other boy’s shoulder and wraps his arms more securely about him, hoping his own warmth will fair better than water.]

… I’m not always patient. And I don’t always think before I do stuff and I know that pisses you off, but–

[He’s been trying. They both have.]

[There's a softened blink as Floyd hides his face. After the words, he gives a light chuckle, hand coming up to stroke through the wet locks.]

Silly man... I don't need you to be perfect.

[He turns his head, resting it gently against Floyd's.]

You try harder for me than anyone else has in my life... that's enough.

So thank you, Floyd, for persisting no matter how hard I fought back.

Mnnngh… I know but–

[Such high praise. It’s nice, sure, but it’s so overwhelming, especially when he’s told he’s enough.

Floyd whines softly into Riddle’s shoulder before nibbling a bit at his neck out of habit.]

I just wanna have fun with you… but you should be having fun too.

[Nibble nibble. And he shifts a bit between Riddle’s legs, grinding up against him.]

You’re so cute, it’s not fair.

[There's a brief shiver at the teeth on his neck.

There's a bit of a jolt when Floyd grinds up against him, breath faltering for a moment. He lets out a slow breath. At least he'd been... at least somewhat prepared for something like that to happen.

He gives a small huff.]

I prefer "handsome".

[His fingers come up, sliding the black strand between them.]

All you have to do is ask.

["Handsome," "cute," "pretty." Isn't it all the same? What's the big mystery?

Anyway, with Riddle pinching his hair, Floyd sighs and carefully starts to settle the other boy back down onto his feet. Just for a moment. He doesn't plan on keeping it this way for long.]

Then can we have fun after you take your underwear off?

[Rude.] It matters to me, or I wouldn't have said it. [Huffpuff.

Another small jolt as his feet touch the heated water on top of the surface, relaxing as they settle on the cool floor underneath.]

Mm... do you promise to clean the bathroom up once we're done in here?

Huh!?

[Floyd blurts out but he’s quick to settle down and give Riddle a grumpy pout instead. Ok. Cool it. Maybe if he wears Riddle out really well, he’ll forget about the mess.]

Ngh… fine, fine, ok.

[After pushing his own bangs back, Floyd bats at Riddle’s two antennae and impatiently shifts side to side on his feet, looking about ready to pounce all over again.]

So is that a “yes”?

[But Floyd, how is he supposed to properly appreciate your hunting skills if he's that worn out~?

He gives a smile and a peck on Floyd's lips.]

That's a yes.

[… point.

Another grumble and he returns the kiss, allowing it to linger so he can take the opportunity to help undress Riddle the rest of the way without further demands for, ugh, chores.]

Up you go, bossy.

[said with as must affection as he can muster as he once again tries to hoist Riddle up into his arms and situate himself nice and comfy between his legs.]

… Are you still cold?

[With much amusement, Riddle steps out of the soaked underwear, then gives a light gasp as he's hoisted up, heat coiling in his stomach.]

... some parts are a little cold, still.

[His one hand comes up to touch Floyd's face.]

You might want to turn the heat down so we'll still have hot water to wash when we're done.

Yeah? Whiiiich parts?

[He knows which parts obviously. But it’s fun and silly to ask… and he’s Riddle’s fun and silly moray, right?

Seemingly placated for now, Floyd pressed his cheek more firmly into Riddle’s hand before tucking his face into his pulse point. A free hand quickly turns the faucet to a more manageable temperature before returning to Riddle’s thigh, giving it a light squeeze while he grinds up against him.

A spike of raw pleasure rockets up his spine and with a satisfied, shuddering laugh, he repeats the gesture once, twice, over and over at a steady pace.]

... the parts that haven't touched the water— a-ah—

[His breath hitches as Floyd starts to move, arousal and anxiety both swirling in his stomach.

His hand comes up to run through the hair. Floyd will definitely be able to hear how much Riddle's heart has picked up.]

M-more warning, next time. [...] ..please.

[Somehow Floyd wills himself to stop and places a light kiss to Riddle’s neck and jaw in apology.]

My bad. Um… I got excited and forgot.

[A beat,]

… Can I do it now?

[He lets out a slow breath.]

Give me a moment...

[He lets his own forehead fall onto Floyd's shoulder, letting out a sigh.]

... sorry... this is probably going to happen a lot.

[While his frustration at himself isn't quite as vehement as it was before... he still can't help but feel bad for making Floyd wait.]

Hey.

[Floyd leans back and makes sure to look Riddle eye to eye so he knows how serious he is.]

You gotta be nice to yourself, ok? You don’t gotta apologize for tryin’ to be comfortable and doing what makes you happy.

[Sure, it’s a bit agonizing, but Floyd’s trying to learn how to be patient about this sort of thing. Sex is no joke here, after all. … Well, maybe sometimes it is, but most of the time it’s something they all have to do whether they want to or not. Making that experience more tolerable, even enjoyable, just makes sense.]

‘sides, we’re on a date right now so I gotta make sure you’re ok. Ok?

[There's a blink as Floyd pulls back. It's rare for him to see this side of Floyd— usually when he's said something that's upset him.

He stares as he's lectured, a flush coming to his cheeks. His gaze softens...

And he leans forward to wrap his arms around Floyd, burying his face into his shoulder wordlessly.]

[It's not the reaction he expects, as with most reactions he's been getting out of Riddle since they've started bonding in the city. He couldn't have come on too forward, could he? Riddle's been way angrier than that, probably seen way angrier than that too.

Holding onto the other boy, Floyd gives him a squeeze... to be reassuring, to simply feel him-- Maybe a bit of both.

What's he supposed to say in these situations? It's more likely he'd pick on someone for crying or cowering, maybe poke and prod to find information he has no business knowing, but that's when he doesn't care about making the situation worse. Floyd supposes he can simply ask the easiest thing.]

... You ok?

[After giving him a return squeeze, Riddle nods, then pulls back just a bit so he can plant some kisses on Floyd's neck and up to his face.

He murmurs into his ear:]

More than okay. Thank you, Floyd.

Now... [He trails the kisses to edge of Floyd's mouth, and gives a seductive smile.] Let's play, shall we?

[Floyd's not sure if Riddle's just saying that because he feels bad or if he's genuinely ok... though he supposes it's not like Riddle to lie. And Floyd knows lying. He has to deal with liars all the time.

So he sighs and mutters,]

Don't let go of me, 'kay?

[against Riddle's lips before starting up another round of deep, steady kisses. This time, he doesn't grind, deciding instead to let Riddle tell him one way or another if that's what he even wants. Giving him a little bit of control isn't so bad.]
