[After a moment, a softly amused noise escapes Riddle. A hand comes up and gently strokes through his hair.

Quietly, he says:]

You're a very kind, generous, and considerate person... More than I ever realized. So... of course I trust you the most. You haven't done anything that doesn't merit earning that trust.

Jamil lets out a quiet, slightly flustered sound. With a huff, he looks away, possibly giving Riddle the impression of someone pouting.]

I haven't done anything to really earn that, have I?

[Riddle can't help but bring a hand up to his mouth, giving a little giggle at that response.]

I only speak the truth, Jamil. I wouldn't be where I am today if you hadn't given me all the support you have.

[His expression softens a little, and he takes a slightly deep breath. It's difficult, but he tries to accept those words with some grace.]

... Then... I'll do my best to keep that trust.

[Ah... his smile warms a lot with that acceptance, and he leans forward, pressing a kiss to Jamil's lips before he pulls back, cheeks dusted pink.]

[Ah... he hadn't expected that, at all. He lifts a hand to gently touch Riddle's face, thumb brushing over the skin softly.]

Would you like to have lunch with me?

[His blush deepens a little at that touch... and then more with the question, eyes widening slightly.]

Ah, you mean—?

[He's not misinterpreting this, is he???]

He gives a smile, hand coming up to lay over Jamil's cheek... And then a playful glint comes to his eyes.

Gently, he takes that hand and pulls it away, kissing the knuckles.]

I'd love to go on a date with you.

[Well, he certainly hadn't expected a move like that, so he looks briefly caught off guard, cheeks dusted a dark pink.

But, after the surprise has worn off, his thumb gently brushes over Riddle's hand.]

I'll pick you up at 11, then.

[Riddle looks quite pleased to have gotten that reaction, and sits back up.]
